Our Rakau- Tewhatewha pēke (bag) is a universal way to store, protect and transport Tewhatewha taonga. We have come up with a innovative system that can be adjustable to carry Tewhatewha from 85cm to 150cm in length. We have also added straps on these pēke (bag) so that they can be carried on your back or slung over your shoulder. Each Rakau – Tewhatewha pēke (bag) comes with a PVC cover to slide over the top to protect the upoko (head) and feather. Handmade with aroha in Aotearoa from a natural material called Jute which is an environmentally friendly, 100% biodegradable, low-energy recyclable material that can be a great compost for the garden.
