Born out of necessity in 2017, Squared Away® is a small Māori owned business based in Taupo Taupō, New Zealand. We are self-avowed Māori-preneurs (Māori Entrepreneurs) who relish in thinking outside of the box and have established a solution-based company for storage case systems and innovative carriage products. Our professional services include but not limited to creating, sourcing, producing, and supplying unique product solutions to common problems. We work with Kiwi and international companies to achieve optimal outcomes to ensure our clients’ needs are met but importantly that you are prepared for any occasion with peace of mind knowing that you are squared away.

Meet The Team

Renée Kiwi

Director

With over 20 years of business experience working for some of the country’s iconic tourism businesses and leading entrepreneurs, Renee knows how to create things from the ground up with a strong portfolio in business development, management, sales, marketing and strategic planning. Renee has a creative mind and natural talent for pulling people, projects, and their ideas together no task is too small or big. She is passionate about her Māori heritage, loves her family and daughter Noa and has tribal affiliations with Ngāiterangi and Te Ātiawa.

Leighton Faulkner

Director

Born of military oak, Leighton is a devoted family man with tribal affiliations to Ngāiterangi and Ngāti Kahungungu ki Wairoa. The SD Box is his brainchild after enlisting in 1994 with the Territorial Force and then later moved to the regular force in 2005. He also worked as a maritime security contractor in the commercial shipping industry and currently still serves with New Zealand Army Reserve Forces. Leighton has a very innovative but practical mind that likes a challenge to finding solutions to problems.
