Our Rakau – Taiaha pēke (bag) is a universal way to store, protect and transport Taiaha taonga. We have come up with a innovative system that can be adjustable to carry Taiaha from 110cm to 170cm in length. We have also added straps on these pēke (bag) so that they can be carried on your back or slung over your shoulder. Each Rakau – Taiaha pēke (bag) comes with a PVC cover to slide over the top to protect the upoko (head) and feather. Handmade with aroha in Aotearoa from a natural material called Jute which is an environmentally friendly, 100% biodegradable, low-energy recyclable material that can be a great compost for the garden.
